Our History

EXPERIENCE AND TECHNOLOGICAL SOLUTIONS FOR MORE THAN 50 YEARS

Ceramiche Ricchetti Group unites over 50 years of experience with continuous research into new technological solutions and innovations. It began in the Fifties with Cisa (Ceramiche Industriali di Sassuolo) and Cerdisa (Ceramiche di Sassuolo), then in 1965 came the purchase of Smov (Società Mosaico Veggia). In 1992 these three companies amalgamated under the name of Industrie Ceramiche Cisa Cerdisa Spa. With the purchase, in 1995, of Ceramiche Ricchetti Group and Ceramiche Ricchetti (founded in 1960), their market share grew, with three production facilities (Sweden, Finland and Germany) and sales operations in Denmark, Norway, France and the United States. The merger by incorporation of Industrie Ceramiche Cisa Cerdisa Spa into Ceramiche Ricchetti Group took place in 1999. With this operation, the Group positioned itself in third place for size in the Italian ceramic sector and among top companies at international level.
