 Certifications
Safeguarding the
environment is one of the primary objectives of the ceramic
tile indistry of the Sassuolo - Maranello area. To improve the
pollution situation, a continuous evaluation of the industry's
impact on the environment is need.
The Ceramiche Ricchetti
Group, an industry leader in the production of ceramic
tiles, has for some time taken on this objective and intends
to pursue a course of continual improvement of its
environmenal impact. The Group hopes to obtain the
environmental certification ISO 14001 by the end of the year
2002 for the most important factory of the Group,
located in Maranello; said certification would then
integrate with the company System of Management for
Quality, certified since 1995 in accordance with the normative
ISO 9001.
The certification and the
subsequence integraded management will permit the Group to
continually improve ita own interaction with the
environment, making use of the same principles of the System
of management forQuality such as: each year set targets
for improvement in environmental questions in accordance
with Company policy; plan relevant work projects; involve
, inform and form the personnel at all company levels on
environmental themes; periodically control the correct
workings of te above ; periodically monitor the general state
of the System for Environmental Management ; set in motion the
opportune actions of prevention or correction.
