EASE/22 by Ricchetti wins Archiproducts Design Awards 2022
The porcelain floor and wall tile collection designed, developed and produced by Ricchetti, EASE/22, wins ADA 2022 award in the "Finishes section".
Following the careful selection by a jury composed of more than 40 of the most influential international architectural firms, EASE/22 by Ricchetti receives the award for the emotional impact and functional peculiarities that the collection is able to offer to its users, thanks to the innovative T2D (Touch to Digital) technology conceived, elaborated and applied to the product design by the creative and technical staff of the GCR R&D Lab, among the first, for years now, to have experimented with this advanced technique and to have adopted its continuous evolutions, and for this reason able to exploit it to its full potential. But always according to the dictates of the GCR vision, projected to generate ceramics with a strong identity, with its own style resulting from ideas and a true search for the new and the beautiful, not simply imitative.
The three-dimensional bas-reliefs of the EASE/22 collection, obtained by attaching special grits to the surface after the passage of a special transparent aggrappante given digitally, enhance the expressiveness of the material by highlighting minute textures and fossil details in a triumph of strength and lightness together, in a perfect synthesis of minimalism and decorativism.
A balance that makes EASE/22 a transversal solution to every type of application and for every aesthetic need, being elegant and at the same time original, essential and refined, simple and design, refined and resistant. It is ideal in public and private, commercial and residential environments, also thanks to a full range of formats, indoor and outdoor finishes, and special pieces.
Its textures, noticeably perceptible to the touch and extremely pleasant and lifelike, create new-generation ceramic surfaces that are the result of a synchronized action with infinite potential for realization.
