The eleventh edition of Clerkenwell Design Week returns after the forced stop due to the pandemic. And it does so by telling more closely the history of this London district entirely dedicated to design, once an area of factories and artisan workshops. GCR is present in the space called "Elements" dedicated to surfaces and, in general, to building materials for architecture. Industrial hardware and creative software, thus, technology and craftsmanship, innovation and tradition: all in the name of a single need: experimentation. The experimentation that guides “MATERIAL DESIGN”, the synthesis of the R&D method and the production process of the Cerdisa Ricchetti Group, of which Archisalt and Fresco are just the latest examples.

Archisalt by Cerdisa is an original interpretation of the salt effect, dedicated to new design languages, even the less conventional ones. A real "salt dream" made of ceramic, a form of homage to the sacredness and purity of the material intended for architectures immersed in typical metaverse scenarios, suspended between space and time, where, however, a single protagonist immediately emerges as absolute in all its force of reality as well as of  tactile and visual expressiveness: the Product.

Settings that seek to surprise the onlooker, create a paradoxical image or even confuse the observer with the lack of a visible link between image and matter. Without borders. Without limits, just as there are no limits to this creation in porcelain stoneware, also thanks to the innovative, revolutionary Cross surface, both natural and non-slip, suitable for both indoors and outdoor. A unicum in the indutry. A “smart” surface, without equal.

In Fresco of Ricchetti the colors of plasters and wall frescoes fade with time, recalling the elegance and prestige of eighteenth-century European architecture, revealing all its relevance in contemporary design.

Seven sophisticated hues, with a dusty appearance setting off the refined shades of color and delicate texture of the surface, mosaics and five refined decorative motifs recalling the art of the past with all the creativity of the present. So, from past to present. From the damask design of the Indian tradition, finely embroidered with a golden thread, to the floral painting that evokes the subdued and already so modern subjects of typical impressionistic backgrounds
A creativity engendered by ingenuity and sensibility, by technological innovation and the cultural tradition represented by quality Italian ceramics for the world of interior decorating.
